Picture of Manuel LemosHello,

Several users have suggested the addition of discussion foruns for each class so users can ask questions and share related information.

However, Web based foruns is a resource that may take a lot of load to the site Web server. Despite there were offers to host foruns for each class hosted in the site, I think it is important that foruns appear in the same site where the classes are hosted.

There are plans to provide the content of PHP Classes Repository site for mirroring. Then, the main server will be probably less loaded than it is today. Maybe then I can add the ability to host foruns in the main site. Until then, we ll have to wait for that.

Alternatively I have created a mailing list named php-objects in Yahoo eGroups site that I would like to invite everybody to subscribe and join the discussions about PHP based Object Oriented Programming.

To subscribe just send a message to:

php-objects-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

or access this page:

Notice that you need to have a Yahoo account to subscribe via Web, not by e-mail though.

Anyway, just join in and share your experiences in Object Oriented Programming in PHP.

Regards, Manuel Lemos
