    		 The image manipulation extension that uses the GD library is one of the most interesting PHP extensions. It makes it possible to dynamically generate images by performing several types of graphic operations.

    One of the most frequently used graphic operations is the text rendering. It can use built-in fonts or custom external fonts available in different standard font file formats.

    This class extends the text drawing capabilities making it possible to use custom fonts defined by individual images that represent separate character glyphs.

  • Detailed description:

    • This class can be used to render text on a background image. The letters of the text are made of graphics defined by separate image files.

    The letter image files can be loaded from a configurable directory. This way different text font images can be used.
